HOD Profile

  • Head of the Department : Prof. Mrs. Nita Rahul Pawar

It is a pleasure to lead the department of Computer Engineering. Computer Engineering is one of the latest branches of Engineering in modern era of technology. It is rapidly growing field with a wide range of job opportunities. The students of the computer engineering are highly demanded by the recruiters of the top companies. The department provides platform for the students to achieve their career goals.

The strength of the department is highly motivated students who understand the dynamics of the industry and upgrade their skills accordingly. The department organizes Workshops, Expert Lectures, Seminars, Industrial visits and extracurricular activities from time to time to provide our students and faculties to interact with their peers. Our students are trained to develop a balanced personality and will prove to be an invaluable asset to an organization.

Wishing all our students a brilliant and bright future

Computer Engineering (Diploma)

One of the fastest-growing career fields in the world, computer Engineering puts you at the forefront of the exciting and rapidly evolving world of technology.

Diploma in Computer Engineering course is all about the core concepts of computer science that includes the subjects such as networking, operation system, database, mobile computing etc. Diploma in Computer Engineering course is a 3-year diploma level course. The minimum eligibility for which is 10th schooling Or successful completion of the 10+2 level of education, in Science stream, and from a recognized educational Board.

The department of computer science started its journey in the year 2010 with an initial intake of 120 students to cater to the requirement of trained Engineers in the field of Computers.. The department has modern laboratories which are equipped with the latest computers, software and peripherals. The student to computer ratio is maintained at 1:1, with 24 X 7 internet facility and WiFi. We also boast of modern infrastructure facilities and beautiful ambience to support overall development of the stakeholders. Our aim is to create skillful Computer Engineers enthused with the soul of polished methodology and mindful responsibility.

To achieve this, we have competent, dedicated and highly motivated staff to train our students. Besides the regular classroom teaching, we conduct special training in soft skills programs (personality development, communication skills, group discussions, debate, etc.) .The Department is known for its excellent results in academics. The department has signed many MoUs with different organizations for the advanced programing languages. Our staff is motivated to carry out research work in varied fields like: Database, Data warehousing, Data Mining, Networking, Wireless Communication, Image Processing, Wireless Sensor Networks, Deep Learning, Internet of Things (IoT) etc.We expect our students to take the advantage of the facilities in the department, gain knowledge and excel in their chosen career.
